Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2026

This Refund Policy explains when and how you may cancel your subscription with Viral Katha (operated by Vidhura Technologies) and request a refund. It complements our Terms of Service.

1. Month-to-month billing

Subscriptions bill on a monthly cycle starting from the date of your first payment. You can cancel any time - you are only ever committed for the current cycle.

2. What is refundable

  • Unused portion of your current month: If you cancel and we have not yet delivered the videos included in your current cycle, we refund the pro-rated cost of the undelivered videos.
  • Duplicate or accidental payment: Fully refunded within 7 business days.
  • Service failure by us: If we fail to deliver the agreed number of videos within the cycle (excluding delays caused by your non-cooperation), the affected videos are refunded pro-rata OR credited to the next cycle at your choice.

3. What is NOT refundable

  • Videos that have already been shot, edited, or delivered - even if you don't like the result. In those cases, we offer one free revision per video per our Terms.
  • Amounts paid for months already elapsed (we don't refund past months if you cancel late).
  • One-time setup or onboarding fees, if any were agreed.
  • Payment processing fees charged by Razorpay (typically ~2% - this is deducted by the gateway, not us).

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email info@vidhuratechnologies.com from the email address registered with us.
  2. Include: your business name, invoice number, and reason for cancellation.
  3. We acknowledge within 2 business days and confirm the refundable amount.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method (bank credit may take an additional 3-5 days depending on your bank).

5. Chargebacks

If you disagree with a charge, please contact us first - most concerns are resolved within 48 hours. Initiating a chargeback with your bank without contacting us may result in immediate suspension of service pending investigation.

6. Cancellation without refund

You may cancel your subscription at any time without requesting a refund - future billing will simply stop. Any videos already produced up to the cancellation date will still be delivered.
